Flat Rate Shipping and Return Info

We make it easy with flat rate shipping:

0 to 5kg - $3.50

5Kg to 10kg - $5.00

Expected delivery times are between 3-5 working days (but normally sooner). All orders are delivered via Courier.  Deliveries are made during business hours on Monday to Friday only and in some cases Sat mornings. Please note that some rural addresses and some more isolated residential areas may require an additional day/(s) delivery time.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO Boxes.

For orders shipped outside of NZ please feel free to contact us either by email or a good old fashioned phone call 09 973 4667 to arrange a special shipment. Nothing is too hard for the team here :-)

The Outdoor Equipment website will advise if a particular product is sold out; this can be seen via the message that pops up above the product. In the event that a product is sold out, we currently do not do back orders so keep an eye out for new stock that comes in regularly. If we can not supply the quantity required when you place the order, flick us an email letting us know how many you want and we'll get it in pronto for you (additional shipping costs may be incurred)

We hope you can understand that from time to time our supplier may not be able to supply us with what you are wanting in a timely manner but we'll do our best to keep you happy.

RETURNS POLICY:

If the product is faulty, please let us know as soon as possible and we will sort it out. 

If you are not 96.25% satisfied with your purchase, we will happily accept returns for up to 30 days after you have made your purchase (read further for details and we'll spell it out for you nice and easy).

Procedure for Returns

1: Contact us to let us know what the problem is

2: Send the product back to us with a copy of receipt (if you don't have receipt, supply your customer details and we will look at our sales records to verify)

3: We will replace or give you a credit to the value of the shipping cost on your next purchase through our website or refund your purchase price including shipping in full.

Please allow 3-10 working days for an exchange or a credit to be processed. Please also keep a record of your shipment until you have received your replacement, credit or refund. 30 Day Outdoor Equipment Limited Return Policy (All the blurb below)

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Outdoor Equipment Limited. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.

Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Procedures
There are three options available for our customers who would like to return a product -

1. Exchange: If a product is unsatisfactory, we can offer to exchange it for another one or another product of the same value.

Please note, as mentioned above, products returned or exchanged must be unused, in a resalable condition with packaging intact.  
While we do everything we can to make sure our stock levels are accurate at all times there may be occasions due to unforeseen circumstances where we are unable to fulfil your order or source a replacement product. If this should occur we will contact you and offer either a store credit for the value of your purchase or a full refund. As mentioned above we don’t do backorders or rain checks as our suppliers may from time to time not be able to supply Outdoor Equipment with the exact product you are wanting (sorry).

2. Money Back Guarantee: Our money back guarantee is a key aspect of our business.

We offer a 30 day right of return no questions asked policy as long as the return is in new condition and original packaging.

3.Repairs:
If the returned product is deemed faulty in any way and is still under warranty, then the repair will be at our expense. If the product is out of warranty, then we can still have the product repaired, however, the cost of the repair will be charged to the customer.

Thanks for shopping with us. Any returns will be accepted up to 30 days from the date of purchase receipt.

Method of Payment or Refund:

Credit Card Refunds will be made against the original card number the goods were purchased with.

On rare occasions, we may decline to offer a refund, in which case we will communicate this with you via email and return the product back to you.

Remember all returns must be in their original undamaged packaging, without any signs of wear and/or tear.
