How To Get The Most Out Of Your Suspension Training Workout

Prior to a couple of years ago I had never used a Suspension Trainer or TRX as is the most popular branded model of Suspension Trainer.

Well i'm a convert and love using them so much that we imported a high quality model of Suspension Trainer and made them available at a much better price than the TRX.

How do you get the most out of a Suspension Training Workout is very simple. I'll break it down for you.

1: Depending on your training goal. If it is to (a) condition your overall body or (b) build strength and size.

(a): Build Strength and Size - Choose no more than 4 to 6 exercises (preferably within in the same muscle grouping i.e back or legs). 

(b): Body Conditioning - Choose 2x exercises per body part (shoulders, chest, back, legs, abs) That will give you a total of 10x exercises

2: Make sure you are warmed up and ready for action prior to ripping into it

3: Keep it simple and intense (focus)

4: Cycle your workout through 4 - 5 times.

(a) For those with the goal of Building Size and Strength reps of 8 to 12 and keep your feet closer to the anchor point for harder resistance, rests 1min max between sets.

(b) For those with the goal of Body Conditioning Toning reps of 15 to 20 and keep your feet further away from the anchor point for less resistance and very short rest between sets (30's max)
